Our liquid honing process can resharpen tools once considered too difficult to salvage. With our abrasive blast we relief grind taking material from the back edge of the tool to reform and sharpen the edge. Our process will give you the sharpest edge possible.

We sharpen & resharpen horse rasps with our liquid honing system. The abrasive blast removes metal from the backside of the teeth until the edge is reformed. Every recut rasp is block tested and inspected and those which fail are color-coded red. If one side is rejected we dip the tang in a red dye. If both sides of the rasp are rejected we dip the top end red. Rejected rasps are vastly improved and can be used for metal or hot work.
For cutting tools not listed give us a call. We use diamond wheels to sharpen most carbide tools.

If you feel comfortable, send your complete order, for a quick turn around on your sharpening needs. When shipping to us, make sure to include a business card along with any important information. Make sure you wrap the files tightly with a strong tape, so they don't rub up against each other. Cut the corners of your box & fold the box down on the tools, so they can't move around.
* Note there is no tax on rework which will cover most shipping costs.
Trimming rasps are easy to sharpen with our process. If you take good care of your rasps they will be sharpened, ready to be put in use again. Rust is not a problem when you send them to us.
