Mounted Points, Abrasive Stones, Power Tools & Polishing Supplies

We stock Rubberized, Vitrified, Fiber, Resin Bond and general purpose mounted points available in white, orange, red, blue-gray, green, pink, gray, black and brown.  The color determines whether they are made of Aluminum Oxide, Silicone Carbide, resin, fiber or rubber.

Working with aluminum?  Try a coarse resin for heavy deburring, fiber for stock removal.  Working with brass?  Use a resin mounted stone.  For cemented carbide, use green silicone carbide or black silicone carbide.  If you are working with hard & brittle ceramics, green silicone carbide is your answer.  Chamfering edges?  Try a very hard blue-gray. Deburring?  Blue gray or very hard gray-white.  Forging die grinding?  We recommend a hard blue-gray.  For the highest RC materials, a very soft gray-white.  For softer RC materials, a medium burnt-orange is good.  Give us a call for your particular needs. 

We stock the more popular points for your convenience.  Fiber-bonded points are composed of laminated layers that include a mixture of abrasive, cotton and either a rubber or a resin bond.  These are primarily used for polishing applications that require light deburring or blending.  Very resistant to loading, they may be used for stock removal of soft, non-ferrous metals such as aluminum.

Miniature High-Speed Burrs

We supply round, bud, cone, flame, tree, cylinder, reamer, wheel & inverted cone burrs in sizes from .0118 to .437 in diameter.  These are made from extremely rugged high speed steel to withstand heat build-up under extreme conditions.  We also have the tungsten vanadium steel burrs on 3/32" shanks.
